Ramadan 2018 Activities

Sponsor Iftar

Throughout the month of Ramadan, there will be community Iftars during each Friday and Saturday. Iftars are going to be sponsored by community families. There will be an online signup sheet and if you would like to sponsor an Iftar or contribute to seek the great reward for providing Iftar for your fasting brothers and sisters, please sign up for a date.

Options to sponsor Iftar:

1.Sponsoring families (single or multiple) are responsible for making arrangements for the food and bringing it to the masjid. The sponsor will provide paper plates, table covers, utensils and napkins and pay ICTC $100 for cleaning. If you picked this option, please write your name in all the spaces available for that day.

2. Individuals can also sign or pick up a certain item from the list provided in the sign up table.

3. If upper options did not work, you can still donate any amount you wish. These donations will be used to cover Iftar’s related expenses like costs of cleaning, supplies, electricity & water bills, bathroom supplies, extra garbage disposal fee, and Qiyamul Lail Suhoor expenses.

4. We also encourage you to sponsor Iftars for single guys in our community during week days of Ramadan either by donating money or preparing food. Please let us know which day you are interested in, so we can do the arrangements.
